For added stability, the umbrella base can be filled with up to 70 lbs. of water or 88 lbs. of sand. Tightening knobs allow it to accommodate both 1.5" Dia. and 1.89" Dia. umbrella poles, and it is suitable for umbrellas up to 13.1' in size.
